Bemerton collected a well earned 3 points following this goal fest. Hat tricks from both Justin Bennett and Eddie Perrett (pictured), a brace from centre half Graham Williams and a debut goal for the returning Jordan Matthews saw a final scoreline of 9 - 1 to the home team.
The Harlequins started well and scored in the opening minutes when Perrett scored his first of the match, the visitors were then reduced to 10 men when the last defender brought down Matthews as he was in on goal. The early dismissal didn't deter the visitors and on 20 minutes the New Street number 10 smashed a 25 yard strike past the hapless Patrick Creese for a deserved equaliser.
The equalising goal spurred the home team back into action and well worked set piece was headed home by Graham Williams to put the Harlequins noses back in front. A second goal from Perrett and a classic Justin Bennett strike on half time saw the home team in the ascendancy.
Half Time: BHHFC 4 - 1 Andover New Street
The Harlequins started the second half well and were soon awarded a penalty which Eddie Perrett dispatched for his first hat trick in a Bemerton shirt. The opposition fell into a period of ill discipline and their talented number 10 found himself sin-binned and his side were down to 9. The home team were unable to break through the stubborn visitors in this 10 minute period, but ironically once the sin-bin period elapsed, then Bemerton increased their lead when Williams scored his second and Bemmies 6th goal of the day.
Bennett, not to be outdone then scored a quick fire double to score his fifth hat trick of the season to increase the score to 8. Jordan Matthews then scored his first goal since he returned to the club when he expertly lobbed the visiting keeper to round off the scoring.

The final score was a bit harsh on the visitors who continued to battle throughout the fixture. The early dismissal obviously didn't help their cause either. The home team were good in possession and looked hungry to put last week's performance to bed. The returning Matthews, O'Keefe and Williams gave the Harlequins a gritty edge and hopefully, from a Bemerton perspective, the team can try to get some consistency into their performances.
